Millennium Development Goals
I integrated an international development aim adopted at United Nations millennium declaration adopted at United Nations millennium summit held in New York in September, 2000 and a main international conference and summit held in the 1990s with the Millennium Development Goals (millennium かいはつもくひょう, MDGs:Millennium Development Goals) and was gathered up as a common frame of one. I am called merely the millennium target.
I agree that 193 consecutive member nations of the whole country and 23 international organizations achieve these aims by 2015. This aim was succeeded to by sustainable development target.

Aim
MDGs raises eight goals and 21 target items as the aim that should be accomplished by 2015.
1. Destruction of the extreme poverty and starvation
- Target 1A: I halve the population ratio to live with less than 1 dollar a day by 2015.
- Target 1B: Securing of appropriate employment that I included a woman, a youth in
- Target 1C: I halve a ratio of population to suffer from starvation by 2015.
2. Achievement of the universal elementary course
- Target 2A: By 2015, it allows all children to complete all courses of the elementary course without the distinction of the man and woman.
3. Promotion of the equality of the gender and position improvement of the woman
- Target 3A: I achieve the cancellation of the man and woman difference in a beginning class, the secondary education by 2005 and cancel the man and woman difference in all education levels by 2015.
4. Reduction of the infant mortality rate
- Target 4A: I decrease the death rate of under 5 years old children (the infants death rate) two-thirds by 2015.
5. Improvement of the health of expectant mothers
- Target 5A: I decrease the expectant mothers death rate three-fourths by 2015.
6. HIV/ AIDS, prevention of spread of malarial other illness
- Target 6A: I prevent a spread of the HIV/ AIDS by 2015 and decrease it afterwards.
- Target 6B: By 2010, I achieve the universal access to HIV/ anti-AIDS drug.
- Target 6C: I prevent outbreak of malaria and other main illness by 2015 and lower the incidence afterwards.
7. Securing of environmental sustainability
- Target 7A: I let a policy and the strategy of each country reflect a principle of the sustainable development and prevent the loss of environmental resources and plan recovery.
- Target 7C: By 2015, it is reduced to half in the ratio of people whom safe drinking water and basic sanitation are not available to continuously.
- Target 7D: I largely improve the life of at least 100 million slumdwellers by 2020.
8. Promotion of the global partnership for development
- Target 8A: I promote the trade that there is not of the discrimination to be able to predict it, and to win that is like opening, and was based on a rule and further construction of the financial system. (and good governance 【 good rule 】, development include a domestic and international pledge for the poverty reduction.)
- Target 8B: I work on special needs of the LDC and MSAC.
- Nothing duty, no frame for import goods from the LDC and MSAC
- Extended program for cancellations of the debts between debt relief for the heavily indebted poor country and two countries
- Including the offer of the ODA that is tolerant than I fight against the countries working on poverty reduction)
- Target 8C: I work on the special needs of landlocked country and the small islands developing country. (based on the rule of Barbados program and the 22nd United Nations General Assembly)
- Target 8D: Through domestic and international measures, I work on the debt issue of the developing country comprehensively and shall be sustainable with a debt in the long term.
- Target 8E: People are cheap and obtain an essential drug, and, in cooperation with a pharmaceutical company, it is possible for the use in a developing country.
- Target 8F: I cooperate with third sector, and the benefit from new technology of the field of communication is provided information in particular.
