Kongoin (Numata-shi)

Kongoin (I do not come) is a temple of the Tendai sect in Numata-shi, Gunma. The mountain is Mt. king sea.

History

I said Mount Akagi Kongoin and was in three current Showa-mura and did post of batman of Mount Akagi once. Goro, Numata Keiji of Miura Numata visits the capital in Akinori, the Oei era year, and it becomes a priest, and it is said to be the open basis to have erected the temple in Kaminumasumachi. It was the third son of 沼田太郎上野介景繁, and this Keiji Numata became the batman of the House of Atagoyama authority virtue in Kyoto. The temple luck had declined at one time, but it was the times of 宏栄法印 of the middle Koichi world and had Atago guardian deity of children sacred image, glebe, memorial service charges from Numata and bloomed afterwards around the Kansho era year. In addition, I have the ground of 100 ken of all sides from 伊豆守信幸 in (1615) in the Genna first year after it was the times of Sanada after Numata died out and move to the current ground. I encounter a fire of several degrees after this, but am erected again each time.

The current main hall of a Buddhist temple was erected in (1787) for Tenmei era seven years by 覚便法印 of the 20th. It was a subordinate temple of Azuma Ueno Enryakuji Temple Kanei-ji Temple, but, before the Meiji Restoration, it was a direct end of Mt. Hiei-zan Enryaku-ji Temple than it because Kanei-ji Temple was destroyed by fire at the time of revolution. And I work as Acala Kanjiyo from 成田山新勝寺 at the time of (1881), 亮海法印 of the 28th in 1881. After that Narita scheme (Mt. existing Narita, Numata Kongo scheme) that is a believer group is formed and reaches it at the present.

The main hall of a Buddhist temple of the calm atmosphere is seen in the front if I pass through the gate with a gable roof following an outer gate, and a bright cinnabar red bell tower is seen on the right. An immovable image is in the pond of the precincts for water and collects the faith of the people troubled with difficulties.
