George レイグ (French: Georges Leygues, D 640) is a French naval George レイグ grade destroyer first warship. The name of a warship comes from politician George レイグ (fr:Georges Leygues) of the 19th century and is the second generation for the French warship which inherited this name.

Warship career
"George レイグ" is constructed in DCN Brest arsenal and starts work on September 16, 1974 and is launched on December 17, 1976 and is placed on duty on December 10, 1979.
