Cesar Ritz
Cesar Ritz (César Ritz, from February 23, 1850 to October 24, 1918) is a businessman of Switzerland France. I gained a great success by hotel Ritz (Paris), Ritz London and the management of the Carlton hotel (London) and was called "hotel King" (king of hoteliers, and hotelier to kings). I leave the name now at "Ritz hotel" of each place remaining in European each place.

I was born as Sueko of 13 brothers of the person of German Ritz in ニーダーヴァルト (Niederwald) of the eastern part of State of Swiss Wallis on February 23, 1850. When Cesar became a manager of the Grand Hotel of Monte Carlo in 1877, I doubled profit in one year and showed capability. Death
On October 26, 1918 16 years later, Cesar reached lonely death in a sanatorium after mental disease developed. It was two days ago when the wife who received the letter which informed that it was almost the death of Cesar arrived. Because the second son died in an accident in the person of Ritz in the same year, and the eldest son went to the United States as a Swiss American emigrant with one's family, the wife has lost a family at a stretch. Taking advantage of death of Cesar, the wife requested to resign as an officer by stockholders came to act only as the chairperson of the officers' meeting by the arrangement of the subordinate.
The wife died at 93 years old in 1961. They move Cesar and the grave of the second son to the birthplace of Cesar during the lifetime and expect that oneself is buried in the same place, and three are buried in the same place.
