Life

I was born in Uomachi, Toyohashi-shi, Aichi and was brought up in prefecture Ushikubocho, Toyokawa-shi. From all over Toyohashi second Junior High School (existing Toyohashi east Senior High School) attendance at school, I came to draw a watercolor, an oil painting image. In addition, I met Masayoshi Nakamura at this time.

I graduate from art technical school (existing Kyoto City University of Arts) Japanese painting department Kyoto City in (1948) in picture technical school (existing Kyoto City University of Arts) design department Kyoto City in (1944) in 1948 in 1944. I participated in the establishment of 11 alumni and "group bread rial" (in the next year, I am renamed to "association of bread rial art"). The Hoshino and others did own work under the pretense of "膠彩画" (こうさいが) when different from the formalism-like conventional Japanese painting of the conventionalism. Hoshino produced the experimental works such as abstract pictures by the collage of a cardboard and the Japanese paper afterward.

From the about mid-1960s, a style showed a big change. The big factor was death of father. I came to use many technique called "人拓" which reflected own body on the Japanese paper by Hoshino who strengthened thought that I wanted to leave the proof of oneself having existed after the body became extinct pushing the body which I painted with paste to Japanese paper, and covering the top with a color.

Hoshino continued and, since "the first bread rial exhibition of 1949," sent a work to the exhibition, but, in turning point of the 30th anniversary of association of bread rial art organization and 1977 when it was, withdrew from an association with the exhibition to "the 35th bread rial exhibition". I formed "people society" (whether a person person) with Masayoshi Nakamura and others with this almost simultaneously and tried construction of 異世界 by the minute graphicness and was active for the innovation of the Japanese painting. I continued fictionization while suffering from a cataract and glaucoma in later years, and art literary arts Chevallier decoration was conferred in 1991 by the French Government.

The December 29, 1997 death. 74 years old. In 1999, "星野眞吾賞" for the rising writers of the Japanese painting was established by Toyohashi-shi of the home town (I carry out the selection once in three years).
