Armed struggle for the purpose of the independence of the Basque Provinces from both Spain France which began in 1959 with the basque dispute (so a basque). It is called Spain, the ETA dispute (Spain-ETA conflict). With Northern Ireland issue and that rear struggle of Corsica, I am known as one of the national liberation wars in Europe.

Struggle outbreak
At the time of Spanish Civil War, a forerunner group of Euzkadi ta Azktasuna (ETA) that the Basque Provinces fell under the Francisco Franco Administration, and received oppression to culture peculiar to a basque, and referred to Irish Republican Army in けたたものの, 1952 was born, and the leader of the youth group of the basque patriotism nationalism party became the early stage of leadership.
