Baseball Writers Association of America
The group which Baseball Writers Association of America (ぜんべいやきゅうきしゃきょうかい, The Baseball Writers' Association of America, BBWAA) was the baseball reporters of a newspaper, a magazine, the website, and was organized. I was established on October 14, 1908 [1].
BBWAA elects the MVP (the MVP), Cy Young Award, the best rookie, Manager of the Year by a vote. J.G. Taylor スピンク prize is a prize said to be with the palace of the baseball reporter whom a member is given. In addition, it was fixed at 1947 that reporters more than BBWAA being on the register roll ten years were given a vote qualification of the American baseball palace. The player who lost a candidate qualification in BBWAA can become a candidate again in Veterans Committee.
In 2012, reporter Manabu Tashiro of Sankei Sports took office as a director as a Japanese for the first time [2].

Selection of the American baseball palace
Current selection rule
The person who met five following conditions can enter the American baseball palace by a vote of BBWAA.
①The player who played in MLB more than ten years
②The player who passed after retirement more than five years
③The player who does not begin an inadequate list of the baseball world
④The player who got more than 5% of total votes by the last vote
⑤The player who got more than 75% of total votes
The player who played in MLB more than ten years becomes a target of the deliberation basically, and it passes more than five years and it is argued by a retirement whether you do it with a candidate in a screening committee. The vote to a candidate is enabled to ten people. When it passes after a retirement for 20 years, as well as less than 5% of vote rates, a candidate qualification is deprived of, and, as for higher than 21 years, the election is enabled after a retirement only in Veterans Committee. A personality, integrity, the sportsmanship will be included in a criterion from 1945, too [3].
Change of the selection rule
I it for a vote cycle
Is carried out in 69 years in 78 years from 1936 through 2013 (as for what was not carried out 1940 .1941 years .1943 years .1944 years .1957 years .1959 years .1961 years .1963 years .1965 years); [3].
Run-off primary
There is it at the time when I was decided to limit it to 20 high-ranking vote-getters and 30 people when nobody is picked, and to carry out a run-off primary (as for the target age 20 people: for 1946 .1949 years a year 30: in 1960 for .1962 years for .1964 years for .1966 years for .1967 years for .1968 years), and a red roughing is picked in Luke Appling, 1967 in Charlie ゲーリンジャー, 1964 in 1949 by this run-off primary [3].
Screening committee
The votes from 1936 of the early years to a candidate were limited by ten people. The screening committee was founded in 1962 and limited a candidate by 40 people from 1968 [3].
Requirements of the candidate
It became the condition that one year passed after a retirement from 1946 and was extended more than five years from 1954. It was decided that a candidate qualification of after next year was deprived of if it became less than 5% from 1979. About the period to lose a qualification from a retirement, it is less than 20 years after a retirement after a retirement after a retirement from 1962 for less than 30 years from 1956 for less than 25 years from 1946. When he died within five years after during the active play or a retirement on January 3, 1973, the entering immediate palace was revised taking advantage of Roberto Clemente having died in a plane accident during active play to be considered (I change it to put a 6-month period afterwards). It was decided that the person included in the inadequate list from the baseball world was excluded from a candidate on February 8, 1991 [3].
