A safflower museum (べにばなしりょうかん) is a museum of the Hebei municipality in Kahoku-cho, Nishimurayama-gun, Yamagata. I display document or Kyoho young bird in conjunction with the safflower.

Summary

A museum of the national only safflower in Kahoku-cho that is famous as "the village of the べに flower." It is a mansion trace of Shirobee Horigome who was a millionaire and is the birthplace of father of Yuzuko Horigome (violinist). I stored 5,000 points including a weapon and a life article and ancient documents in the hall and received these donation in (1982) in 1982 and opened it (1984) in May in 1984.

• It was built in last years of gate of a tenement house style - Edo era. I added red ocher and processed the superior wall of the wall.
