Rostock

Rostock (SMS Rostock) is a German naval cruiser. One ship of the Karlsruhe grade small size cruiser. I am killed in battle by Jutland offing sea fight of World War I.

I am named for harbor city Rostock of Germany, and the Mayor of city holds "baptism" at the launching ceremony.

Warship career

The 1911 start of work. The November 12, 1912 launching. February 5, 1914 placement on duty.

After placement on duty, it becomes the conduct warship of the mine corps. In July, 1914, Rostock acted as the guards of Imperial Family ヨットホーエンツォレルン (SMY Hohenzollern) of the emperor Wilhelm second.

I made a sortie against Rostock as one ship of the support people of the cruiser corps of the Admiral Franz phone ヒッパー which left for the British troops corps overthrowing which were known when active near Dogger Bank on January 24, 1915. The German military met five British battle cruisers, and dogger bank sea fight occurred. German armoured cruiser ブリュッヒャー sank by this sea fight.

Rostock participated in Jutland offing sea fight of 1916. On June 1, Rostock contacts destroyer Ann basketball id in the U.K. [^{inspection required – I was attacked in notebook]}. For each one two destroyers fired a torpedo, and one of them hit Rostock. It is unknown whether the torpedo which hit it is the thing which a destroyer fired of which. Three 4 inches of cannonballs from destroyer Blok hit Rostock other than a torpedo. Rostock called destroyer S54 together, and S54 towed Rostock. Destroyer V71 and V73 dispatched for the guards successively increased.

Rostock met with cruiser Dublin, the U.K. at about 3:55 on June 1. Three destroyers came alongside Rostock and took Rostock crew. In addition, the smoke screen was set up, too. S54 approximately ten minutes later of the Rostock crew picked you up, and left it. V71 and V73 drove three torpedoes into Rostock, and Rostock set at about 4:25. 14 people died, and six people were wounded in the Rostock crew during a battle.
