Macrolide

The macrolide (macrolide) is the generic name of the organic compound having large ring lactone comprised of atoms more than 12 [¹]. I am called the macrore-doh [²].

There is various macrolide to a natural product compound, but it is a macrolide derivative antibiotic to be particularly useful. A macrolide derivative natural product having various bioactivity including antibacteria medicine, antifungus or the immunosuppressant is known, but points to the macrolide derivative antibacteria medicine when I call it with macrolide without declining it particularly in the field of medical care [³]. ピクロマイシン discovered than an actinomyces in 1950 is the first macrolide derivative antibiotic.
