Around station
National highway No. 200 goes along the station square. The station is located in the district of the Yamaga village at the west end and because 1km is far from the center of the village, the station square is dotted with a small scale store and private houses and is extremely deserted. I leave the station and turn right, and there is Yamaga (I get a mountain) post office when I go ahead approximately 300m through National highway No. 200.
I leave the station and make a left turn and enter Chikuzen-machi when 600m walks on National highway No. 200. Furthermore, the Nishitetsu bus which leaves from the bus stop at the Osamu Yamaya intersection in the place where I walked approximately 600m for JR Hakata Station (via the city expressway) and JR Futsukaichi Station, Nishitetsu Asakura-Gaido Station of the Chikushino-shi center and Chikuzen-machi center, Asakura-shi is operated.
A bus toward Chikushi Station and the Yamaga area (Kaminishiyama) from the bus stop which is on National highway No. 200 of the station square arrives and departs.
Hiyamizu Pass is in the northeast of the station and becomes the city boundary of Chikushino-shi and Iizuka-shi. National highway No. 200 (old road) goes over the gap by sharp curves, but there is not the tunnel, and cold water road ("cold water tunnel" (road)) and Chikuho Main Line ("cold water tunnel" (railroad)) pass through the basement in a tunnel and bind Chikuho district and South Fukuoka region (Chikushi area) together.

Other
It is saved static condition 500 form 507 of the streetcar used in the corner of the station yard until the abolition of the Nishitetsu Fukuoka-shi extension and Isuzu BU15D (Nishinippon Shatai Kogyo body, former Omuta Office position) of the Nishitetsu bus. Repair work is carried out regularly both by a group called "Kitakyusyu Line vehicle preservation society". As for 507, it was stored static condition before in Sarayama Park of Sue-cho, Kasuya-gun, but is transferred here in December, 2014 [3]. I lend the site, and Kyushu Railway Company does not participate in the management of the vehicle directly. Two cars of (600 form 621, 323 form 324) of Nishitetsu Kitakyushu Line were stored, but these were transferred once by "I lent it and do not get a cuttlefish".
