Cicero performed a speech to attack Marx Antony as a model by a speech of Demosthnes consciously in B.C. 44 and B.C. 43. If a letter with Brutus who existed was genuine, at least speech of the fifth and the seventh was called "フィリッピカ" from those days. Owl ゲッリウス called those speeches Antonian Orations.
Ironically, the speech of Demosthnes does not work, and the son Alexandros(Tralles) third of the ピリッポス second will conquer the east. After Caesar assassination, Cicero regretted that assassins did not assassinate Antony either and decided to work hard to lose reputation of Antony. Cicero supported that オクタウィアヌス legalized own personal armed forces. Cicero goes 14 times of フィリッピカ in total during a period within two years. It made efforts in Cicero to let Antony lose the position, but I overlook that オクタウィアヌス becomes the menace to coKazumasa whom Cicero idealizes and, as a result, will invite the downfall of oneself.
The attack speech to Antony of Cicero is not permitted, and there did not need to be the forgotten thing. As a result, the name was made public by プロスクリプティオ and was murdered in B.C. 43. As a lesson to the people who objected to オクタウィアヌス, Antony, the second triarchy of レピドゥス, his head and handle were exposed in form ロマヌム. Demosthnes was not murdered by the result that went ピリッピカ, but I raised a revolt later and killed myself.
Historian Tacitus of imperial government Roma period nominates フィリッピカ for the achievements that made Cicero celebrity with カティリナ tirades.
