The Democratic Party national convention (1948 Democratic National Convention) was started on July 12 in convention hall of Pennsylvania Philadelphia until July 14 in 1948 and, in Harry S Truman incumbent as a presidential candidate of the presidential elections of 1948, nominated member of the Upper House Alban W Berkeley (Kentucky) as a running mate.
