The conversation robot which Tokyo University and Robo garage (Tomotaka Takahashi), Toyota, Dentsu played a key role in キロボ (KIROBO), and was developed. I am loaded the stork fourth unit as a robot astronaut of human first [1] and am carried to the International Space Station (ISS) and perform a conversation with the Pilot Koichi Wakata in ISS [2].
I arrived at the ISS on August 10, 2013 and succeeded in start and utterance for experiment ridge "hope" in Japan on August 21, the same year. The first voice was which "was first 歩 of the robot to future hope on August 21, 2013" mimicking Neil Armstrong (Japanese) [3]; [4]. On December 6, the same year, I talked with Pilot Wakata and tested it [5]. I was kept after an experiment for a while, but I was collected in fifth unit (SpX-5) of the dragon spaceship on February 11, 2015 and returned to the earth [6]. As "the robot which talked at the highest place from the ground" and "the snuggle robot which I performed for the first time in the space," I was authorized by two Guinness world records.
The name called "キロボ" was invited public participation for with "ミラタ" and was selected.
