Yamato parking area (a mountain and parking area) is the parking area which is on Kanetsu Expressway of Minami-Uonuma-shi, Niigata.
The up line ever had a snack, a shopping corner, but it was closed down at 8:00 on the afternoon of September 30, 2005 and became only the vending machine. Therefore a certain area stamp is not installed in the up line in the down line.
In the smart interchange of this parking area juxtaposition, an interchange of Kanetsu Expressway was not installed in the Yamato district with Minamiuonuma-gun old four alone (the details refer to railroad and political # Joetsu Shinkansen and Urasa Station), but the society experiment of the smart IC was performed from June 1, 2005 by a use of ETC promotion plan of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and was made permanent construction on October 1, 2006. In addition, the use time for smart IC was until from 6:00 to 22:00 till then, but became available for March 28, 2016 for 24 hours [1].

Temporary bus stop
A temporary express bus stop was installed in the up and down line of the Yamato PA on the afternoon of November 5, the same year by Niigata Chuetsu earthquake generated on October 23, 2004. It is all Niigata Station - Muikamachi - Tokamachi Line service of the express bus to stop. In addition, the Joetsu Shinkansen representation bus stopped as a substitute of Urasa Station, too, and the getting on and off car with the youth 18 character was possible, too. This place was converted into smart ICs afterwards.
