History, history
It is informed that I was done as a temple of the Tendai sect in genesis in the Kamakura era. It is time of 実田以耘和尚 (Eisho era two years) for 1,505 years that it is converted to the Soto sect that is a current denomination and was made an open wound. The history is repeated without a break, and the current chief priest is the 26th. "A fight of the pail interval" happened at the age of priest Nisei excellent old man Riyuki (Eiroku era three years) in 1560 and I derived the person killed in action (approximately 2,500) and burnt incense for the soul of the deceased and buried it. When it depends on a fire (Shoo era three years) on March 3 in 1654 and comes to all the temples trifle, and only two pieces of doors of the main gate of a Buddhist temple slightly remained, I am informed it. There was the Buddhist monastery at the time in the place former mansion of southeast around 1 kilo from the present location and I was troubled by Sakaigawa, the flooding of original Togawa, and the ground levelled the land of the present location that was a hill and maintained a Buddhist monastery. I am proud of status as Motoyama in our area from the Edo era, and there is the connection with many platform believers now under Aichi. The main gate of a Buddhist temple was erected with Toyoake-shi designation tangible cultural property (Kyoho two years) [1] at the time of 六世了悟素髄和尚 in 1717 by one oblation of the Chita-gun pail Hazama-mura resident Kiyoshi Kajino gate-guard office. It is made with three ken of part of zelkova materials hinoki materials one two-storied gates, and the roof is gabled and hipped roof tile-roofing, and the framed picture is a writing brush of 八事般若台雲臥元淳禅師. 大庫裏 is a thing rebuilt (culture two years) in 1805, and the chimney cover of the vent gets on a roof, and the roof truss with the big tree of the pine is put for entrance earthen floor ceiling, and the structure of the storage of back of the temple for Edo period still remains.
Event, sacred rites
Chita Shikoku hallowed ground first bill place
For "is Nishiura and Higashiura Himakajima Shinojima though an open wound of the Chita Shikoku 88 places hallowed ground was decided by 夢告 of the propagating Buddhism Great Teacher, (1809) Komi-mura (existing Chinatown Area, Chita-shi) 妙楽寺一三世亮山上人 begins at Chita Peninsula sung for Shikoku なるらむ" - - ancient poem in this way for culture six years. I got two comrades called Okado half storehouse Buddhist ascetic and the Yasushi Takeda soldier of the Imperial Guard and was started the great deed of the open wound. 奉持 did a Great Teacher sacred image, and Yasushi Takeda soldier of the Imperial Guard Buddhist ascetic wished for the next り installation in Sogenji. However, the propagating Buddhism Great Teacher was a sect father of another religion, and the chief priest entrusted Hikozo who was the platform mischief representative of our village with accepting you out of necessity because I hesitated. After enshrining it in the corner of Hikozo Sogenji Mido provisionally, a worshiper gradually erected the increase propagating Buddhism temple. It is Chita-gun where our village (Owaki village) at the time is the northernmost tip of Chita Peninsula that Sogenji was decided in a Chita Shikoku first bill place, and, according to the rotating right-handedly, the label turn of the hallowed ground is the time. A worshiper to Sogenji is approximately 100,000 people a year including a pilgrim now.
I cook a Japanese radish of Toyoake
The official name is called "烏蒭沙摩明王尊大祭". I do a Japanese radish made a prayer by an event to be carried out on November 29 with "furofuki daikon" and am an event to eat it with "knotted tangle", and to bind 明王尊 and a relationship together, and to pray for not to make any being healthy, and becoming bedridden every year. Many people comes and prepares "the furofuki daikon" for 6,500 every year. I prepare for 10,000 "raw Japanese radishes" for the take-out for the person who cannot eat it, the person who cannot do the worship on the day for congestion.
Akemichi Inari
It is in the enclave precincts (2, Shinsakaecho, Toyoake-shi). As for the history, third daughter "father" of 素封家浜島卯八 of the (1865) Chita-gun Kitazaki village (existing Kitasakicho, Obu-shi) received the influence of 寂應和尚 in 1865 and I took the tonsure when I did not save the hardship of the traveler who came and went and became a priest and changed my name from Tokaido at the time to Akemichi nun and erected 寂應庵 by help of 浜島卯八 in the village of Ochiai (existing 1, Shinsakaemachi) facing Tokaido. I attended to the tea every day and healed the mind and body of people as a free rest station for the people who took a trip to Tokaido in the hermitage. The big kettle which I sometimes used is still kept in Sogenji. I worship you as a principal idol of the temple to erect the cathedral to honor the achievements of the nun at time of the Akemichi nun 100 anniversary of death in 1990, and that Akemichi Inari and an honorific title do Inari giving happiness and prosperity for Akemichi nun and pray for the peace of people as proof of the Great compassion of the Akemichi nun for a long time.
A fight and war person mound of the pail interval
In other words, floated, and death in battle, the Sogenji Nisei excellent old man Riyuki chief bonze of a temple gave an aperture for admitting light sect mark chief bonze of a temple an order for a surprise attack of Nobunaga Oda during invasion in origin of Suruga lord of a castle Osamu Imagawa region Daisuke justice, Owari in pail interval, and the fight of the famous pail interval accommodated a person of war wound with a villager on the history for (1560)5 19 days a month for Eiroku era three years and buried care, a person killed in action (approximately 2,500) in each place, and a death warrant burnt incense for the soul of the deceased. The mound of each place existed until late years, but has been lost in housing land development. The war person mound (called Suruga mound first) was made as representative existence of those mounds, and the successive chief priests led many priests and continued holding a service. A sponsor is succeeded to previous posterior segment, and 拝請 does the Sogenji chief priest, and a Buddhist memorial service is run now on a war person mound on Saturday in the first in June. I hold a service for the person killed in action of Prince Yoshimoto Imagawa mortuary tablet "天澤院殿四品前禮部侍郎乃峯哲公大居士" Munenobu Matsui mortuary tablet "法号寂應白空庵主" or other "fights of the pail interval" carefully in the mortuary chapel of Sogenji.
