Robert マルジョラン (Robert Marjolin, from July 27, 1911 to April 15, 1986) is a French economist, politician. I participated in the formation of the European Economic Community.

Breeding and education
マルジョラン was born as a son of the interior decoration supplier of Paris. I left the school at 14 years old and had begun to work, but attended a course and a correspondence course in Sorbonne by night. In 1931, I became a scholarship student of Rockefeller Foundation and learned sociology and economics in Yale University and completed it in 1934. In addition, a doctorate of the law was conferred in the graduate school in 1936. From 1938, I worked as the first assistant of the Charles list of Paris Economic Research Institute. Assumption of office to the European Commission committee
In 1955, he negotiated on the occasion of the formation of the European Economic Community (EEC) with a French delegation. He regarded setting of the common economy, finance, monetary policy as important in particular and got support of German leader Alfred Muller Al Mac () representative and the Hans phone デア glow Ben () vice-head.
In 1958, I was chosen as the one of two French representatives in the first Hull Stein Committee of European Commission and was in charge of an economic finance problem. In January, 1962, I was reappointed to the second Hull Stein Committee. In November, 1962, I ran for an assembly general election in France as a candidate of French Socialist Party and lost. He should have left the committee if elected, but as a result of having lost, will serve out a committee until the expiration in the term of office of January, 1967.
I die in 1986. 74 years old.
