The イプチ river (Belarusian wordпуць; Russianпуть, example :Iput of the Roman letters transcription) rises from Belarus (paralysis Ryo state) and, through Smolensk, Bryansk, Russia, is a river joining the ソジ river in ホメリ state of Belarus. At the left branch of the ソジ river, I belong to Dnieper water system. As for the total extension, 437km, the basin area extend to 10,900km².

There is a water source in the Smolensk Highlands of the paralysis Ryo state. I enter Russia and I enter Belarus and, through a town of スラージ, drift to the town of ドブルシ against ノヴォズィプコフ and join the ソジ river in city ホメリ of the Belarus second. The main branch is ヴォロニツァ river, ウネチャ River.

I freeze up and begin to melt in spring at the end of November in early April from the end of March.
