Kohoku Station (こほくえき) is an East Japan Railway Co. (JR East) Narita Line (Abiko branch line) in Nakazato, Abiko-shi, Chiba station.

History

Origin of the station name

There are not the wetlands that assume "a lake" an official name in the neighborhood of our station, but it is said that I am located the north of the Lake Tega.

Station structure

At a station having island expression home one 2 line above the ground, I have Hashigami station building. The track considerably diverges from this side in the Abiko, and a measuring line diverges from the Narita area line side more from there. Seeing from a home, two measuring lines are installed in the depths of the up line.

It is a direct management station and manages each station between Higashi-Abiko Station - Kobayashi Station as a management station. A green window (as for the business hours from 6:00 21:00), automatic ticket gate, automatic ticket machine is installed in the station building.

Use situation

The daily mean vehicle ridership of 2013 is 4,058 people [5]. There are the most users at Nakama Station of Narita Line (Abiko branch line).

Around station

In the north side, the south side such as the villages of the middle mountain pass (なかびょう) district is new residential areas including the UR city mechanism Kohokudai housing complex. As of December, 2010, the construction of the station square rotary advances in the north side.

※There was the time when new Dongfeng operated the late-night bus of the Abiko Station → 4, Ryukakujidai, Sakaemachi line (it goes only as far as some 1, Kioroshihigashi, Inzai-shi) and the route bus of the Tennodai Station Kitaguchi line, but was abolished.

Other

  • "I ride a basket, and there is a stand" nearer Araki of the home, and the figure which a peddler going out puts vegetables is seen in Tokyo.
