Conference on Disarmament
The permanent disarmament conference organization where the Conference on Disarmament (Geneva ぐんしゅくかいぎ British: Conference on Disarmament, CD) is put in Geneva, Switzerland. The former title Committee on Disarmament (Geneva ぐんしゅくいいんかい British: Committee on Disarmament). It is the negotiating only organization between many countries about the disarmament [1]. I may be called merely disarmament conference or the Committee on Disarmament.
Although it is not a substructure of the United Nations, a secretary general of the United Nations Geneva secretariat holds an additional post of the secretary general of the disarmament conference, and United Nations disarmament department () (UNODA) acts as the secretariat function [2] and has the relations that are close to the United Nations.

- Committee on Disarmament () (TNCD) which is the origin of the plenary session in ten countries is installed in Geneva in 1960 by - U.S. and Britain Buddha ソ communique [1]; [2] [3].
- Committee on Disarmament () (ENCD) in -18 countries is established in Geneva in 1962 [2]; [3].

The main treaty that was concluded
Many treaties have been concluded in the Conference on Disarmament and forerunner organization. It is the masterpiece as follows.
- PTBT (1963)
- The Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (1968)
- Treaty (1971) that setting such as the nuclear weapons in the bottom of the sea is prohibited in it
- Biological weapon prohibition treaty (1972)
- Environmental disruption weapon prohibition treaty (1977)
- Chemical Weapons Convention (1992)
Negotiations method
[1], each country dispatch an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary in charge of the Conference on Disarmament to the plenary session held in a time in 3 sessions, and these ambassadors discuss it about disarmament every year. Japan establishes a representative of disarmament conference Japanese Government part in Geneva and dispatches an ambassador. There was Kuniko Inoguchi in the successive ambassadors, too.
In late years a stagnation state not to be carried out of the substantial negotiations and discussion continues [1].
