セベイ (Sebei) is a traditional area of the northeastern part of Uganda. It is the traditional place of residence of the セベイ group of Nile of the Elgon Yamakita foot origin. I contact with boogie-woogie to the State of western part (mount Elgon prefecture), west of Kenya to the south over the Kenyan lift valley state (トランスンゾイア prefecture), mountaintop to the カラモジャ district, the east to the north.
セベイ was considered to be セベイ county in the British colony times, and a boogie-woogie prefecture was put in conjunction with west boogie-woogie. I was considered to be an independent prefecture at the time of independence in Uganda and became the カプチョルワ prefecture when a name of a prefecture was renamed in 1979 by prefectural office name of a location. The セベイ group was a citizen of live stock farming of Jin Karen line, but in late years becomes a producer of the corn including coffee cultivation in the times [1]. The southeastern part was divided in the ブクウォ prefecture (ブクワ prefecture) in July, 2005.
