胡钁

胡钁 (こかく, man, from 1839 to 1910) is a seal engraver, the calligrapher who played an active part in last years of Chinese Qing dynasty.

It is Mayor of Bansui bower in a character in 匊 鄰, old 匊, 号. A person of 浙江崇徳.

Short biography

I was superior in a book and poetry, stippling. 刻竹 which carved with a seal to bamboo was good. I showed the skill superior in the carving after the original of an epitaph and the copybook printed from the works of old masters of calligraphy.
