ハマクア (Hamakua) is an area of United States of America Hawaii in northern Hawaii Island. It prospered once as a center of the sugar industry plantation [1].

Town
- ホノカア (Honokaa)
- ホノカア located the east of the ワイピオ Valley is a town of a population of 2,200 people. In the town which the emigrant who engaged in labor in a sugarcane plantation made, most of current inhabitants are the descendants, too [2]. ホノカア sugar company founded in 1873 closed sugar mill in 1993 and after that I achieved a reincarnation to the town mainly composed of the tourism and became the ハマクア's greatest town [2]. The monument of the Goto cutlet which is the Japanese emigrant who contributed to the position improvement of the worker as the first association activist in Hawaii is built in the library of this town [2].

- ラウパホエホエ (Laupāhoehoe)
- The town [4] like a population of 470 people that ラウパホエホエ is located at the middle of ホオカア and Hilo. Because I was attacked by a tsunami of 9m in height, and 24 people died on April 1, 1946, the town of ラウパホエホエ was transferred to the current place [4].
- ホノム (Honomu)
- ホノム the small town [5] like a population of 540 people in the bank of the アカカ waterfall. It prospered in sugar industry once [5].
