Senzaburo Suzuki (すずきせんざぶろう, from May 10, 1893 to October 6, 1924) is a Japanese dramatist, editor. I have the nom de plumes such as Toshimaya master (としまやしゅじん), Misaburo Izu (Izumi Saburo).

Person, origin

I am born in the Aoyama district (current Kitaaoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo or Minamiaoyama) of the Tokyo City Akasaka ward (1893) on May 10 in 1893 [¹]. After graduation, I enter Yotsuya Bank and go to old system, the Okura commercial school (the current Tokyo College of Economics) night school where looked good with city ward 3, Aoicho (current 2, Toranomon, Minato-ku) at the time of the side and graduate from Yotsuya ward Samoncho (current Samoncho, Shinjuku-ku) old system, Yotsuya second Elementary School that I looked good with (existing Shinjuku Ward Yotsuya sixth elementary school) [¹]. But, I advance to the city Kanda ward 3, Nishikicho (current Kandanishikicho, Chiyoda-ku) nation British society who looked good.

I become a disciple of Yoshu Mizuno of the writer, and it is recognized in the prize script which I raised of the Mitsukoshi drapery (current Mitsukoshi) at the age of (1913), 20 years old in 1913 by winning [¹] Shoyo Matsui (のちの Shoo Matsui) and becomes a disciple of Shiko Okamura on recommendation of Matsui. I enter (1914), joint fire insurance (one of the forerunners of current Aioi Nissay Dowa Generals Ins.) in 1914.

I resign from joint fire insurance by the advice of Shiko Okamura at the age of (1916), 23 years old in 1916 and enter publishing company "玄文社" which cosmetics maker Ito butterfly garden runs, and Okamura is engaged in the editing of the magazine "new entertainment" serving an editor in chief [¹]. The side, the drama "daughter of Yahataya," "father of the foreigner's concubine" announced "the death of the beautiful idiocy". I get married (1919) in 1919. I am sick (1922) from spring in 1922 and am assigned to lying in bed. Kikugoro Onoe stages it (1923) for the sixth generation in February in 1923, and "Jirokichi confession" becomes popular [¹]. The capital was destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake of September 1, the same year, and 玄文社 was dissolved [¹].

I died with Oiso-machi, Naka-gun, Kanagawa small 1,000 tatami mouth (current town Oiso) which was a temporary house during disease medical treatment (1924) on October 6 in 1924 [¹]. 31 years old death. It was the last thing he wrote, but this is done with a masterpiece, and, in August of the year ahead of the death, "the living Kodaira next" which I announced is done with the masterpiece of the drama history in modern times by "drama new tide" (Bungeishunju Ltd. Corporation) [¹]. It is said that there are many things drawing the human essence while praising the atmosphere that the work is nihilistic, and is weird [¹]. Filmization was made in the original by a drama, but, except "the daughter of Yahataya," was all posthumously.
