Summary

As a new address of the north and a half of south and a half of part, Ryogaecho of north and a half of south and a half of Karamonocho that became the eviction by setting of highway "Odori, Chuo" that almost went along the center to the east and west of Osaka-shi, north Kyuutaromachi, peasant Hashizumecho, Nouninbashi, I opened it in 1970. At the time of construction of Odori, Chuo, the move negotiations ran into difficulties by compensation issue from the high original land prices. A businessman called Shigeki Kobayashi started an idea to make a building right under a road saying "available areas should not decrease" there, and adoption was fixed as a good idea immediately [2].

The east is located to the west in the form such as the safety zone put on the plane road of Odori, Chuo between to Watanabe source from a broom shop street. The fourth floor, 2 stories below ground (both ends are low by the slant of the elevated road) above the ground. Know the ground in Building No. 10 from Building No. 1 by an intersecting road and is divided into three zones by Osaka municipal subway Sakaisuji Line and Midosuji Line intersecting in a basement.

In Building No. 3, in Building No. 9, in fiber wholesale dealer street, Mido line Building No. 10 from it and to the west, it is in the shopping district around the specialty store from import market (Osaka foreign-made Mart), Building No. 4 between the Sakai line - Mido muscle from Building No. 1 from Sakai circle and to the east. In addition, the restaurant street unfolds around a basement, too and comprises the parking lot.

An elevated road of Hanshin Expressway 13 Higashiosaka Line and Odori, Chuo runs the roof of the building (cf. photograph). Osaka municipal subway Chuo Line goes underground along Odori, Chuo, but the interval of the up and down line becomes wide with approximately 42m because the neighborhood of our building goes along the basement of the branch road of the north and south.

In March, 2012, in the grand design project team of Osaka, removal and the basement of the Odori, Chuo road assumed making it it at approximately 1km of the west anchorage junction - Higashifunaba junction of the Hanshin Expressway 13 Higashiosaka line as review plan of the city structure and announced that I would examine the removal of our building in future [3].
