Revival (ふっこうごう) is one of the trains which the Taiwanese railroad line Administration Bureau operates.
The name "revival" of "revival" came from that President of Republic of China Chiang Kai-shek suggested a Chinese cultural restoration movement () against the Cultural Revolution in China in 1966 and was named. Summary
In the 1980s, 台鉄 placed an order for 120 air conditioning passenger cars for Tang Sakae, Taiwan. In February, 1980, first 15 cars were delivered, and service in mixed, braiding it of 莒 light was started. This vehicle is named 莒 光特快附掛対号 generally.

Remarks
Before the 1990s, there was not a name unified in the railroad line Administration Bureau in 台鉄車輌, and a name of the service was different from the name on the ticket. Names such as "a revival express train" or "the visitor second" were used for revival "a revival express train". After 台鉄 introduced an online ticketing system in the 1990s, names tended to be gradually unified, and "the express train" was deleted formally on December 1, 1993, and a general name of "revival" was born. But the name of "the visitor second" is used in service section internal information now.
