The lemonade (a scientific name: Citrus medica) is an evergreen shrub tree of Rutaceae mandarin orange genus. The name in Chinese 枸櫞 (cannot eat it). I am relation to a lemon.
Characteristic
The Japan Atomic Industrial Forum is the eastern part of India, a highland of the upper Ganges. However, I have been already transmitted in Rome and China before A.D. In addition, it reached the American continent after arrival by Columbus. Because I am listed in Japan in "natural materials for medicinal use picture book" (1828), it is thought that I came before the Edo era.
A branch has many splinters. The leaf has a burr (saw teeth) which is particular about a relationship with apple-green, a slim oval. A sprout and the flower have many kinds tinged with light purple, and the petal is slim.
The surface of the ripe fruit is yellow, and the shape varies by a kind, but the weight is 150-200 g in spindle shape generally. In addition, a nipple develops on the top. The rind of a fruit is soft, but it is thick, and there is little flesh, and there is little fruit juice, too. In addition, there are the kind that flesh is considerably sour and the kind that is not so.
I call the fruit of some kinds エトログ (Hebrew: אֶתְרוֹג) in the Judaism and do it with one of the plants of the fourth-class mail to use for a ceremony to pray for the first rain in "the Feast of Tabernacles" in the New Year.
Kan Bush (fingered citron) is a variety of the lemonade (C. medica var. sarcodactylus).

The fruit juice is used for a drink and is considered to be citrate raw materials. I assume it raw materials of the fragrance, and the rind of a fruit is processed into confiture and is used for confectioneries such as シュトレン, パネットーネ, スフォリアテッレ, カンノーロ.
