Kepler 11b (Kepler-11b) is an extrasolar planet revolving in sun at the position approximately 2,000 light-year [2] away from the earth in the direction of Cygnus and Kepler 11 who is extremely a G type main sequence star having a diameter, the mass that I resembled [6].
Table of contents
Orbital property
Kepler 11b is a planet revolving most in the inside in a planet of Kepler 11 line [5]; [6]. Orbit semimajor axis is 13,600,000km (0.091AU[5]) There is only approximately a quarter of the distance of と, the sun and the Mercury. The difference of the revolution orbit with Kepler 11c revolving immediately in the outside has only 2,240,000km (0.015AU). The eccentricity is approximately 0 for approximately ten days and seven hours 17 minutes in a revolution period [5]. I may do Kepler 11c and orbit resonance, and the ratio is 4:5 [6].
Orbit angle of inclination is 88.5 degrees, and is a planet going along the part near the apparent center of Kepler 11 [4]; [5]. If the apparent center of the fixed star is near, only it will pass distance having a long fixed star surface, but passage time passes it just before Kepler 11 most briefly in the Kepler 11 pro-planet in 4.02 hours because revolution speed is fast [5].
Physical property
Summary
In Kepler 11b, 1.97 times, mass are estimated all to be 4.3 times a diameter in comparison with the earth [5]. The diameter is the smallest in a planet of Kepler 11 line, and the mass is the second smallest [5]. When Kepler 11b passes just before Kepler 11, as for Kepler 11, 0.0293% [4] become gloomy. This value is the smallest in a planet of Kepler 11 line. The diameter is found by the observation of the transit method exactly to some extent, but the mass varies with 6.5 times from 2.3 times all right [5]. This difference is a problem of the quality of the direct data by Kepler 11b and Kepler 11c letting a revolution period be out of order by each other's gravity [6]. However, still it is a good value of the precision next to Kepler 11f [5].
Estimated property
The mean density is 3.1 g/cm3 if I adopt 4.3 times [5]. 50% are the density that is about the same as a rock planet made of the water [6], and this is about the same with a month. In addition, it is highest-density in a planet of Kepler 11 line [5]. However, it is thought that I am comprised of the composition that was considerably considerably different from the earth without being able to apply it as the same terrestrial planet simply because Kepler 11b is the heavenly body considerably bigger than a month [6]. However, nevertheless it is thought that Kepler 11b is comprised of the heavy element which is higher than helium not light elemental hydrogen [6]. It is thought that Kepler 11b is comprised of remarkably approximately pure silicate with a little iron when I put these together [6]. It is thought that probably the water is a state of "the ice" seen in the Uranus type planet [6]. In addition, it is thought that I have the atmosphere made of hydrogen and helium [6].
Because extremely near from Kepler 11 in Kepler 11b, the surface temperature is 627 degrees Celsius (900K[2]) It is と estimated extremely high temperature planet. Kepler 11b was ever a planet having hydrogen-rich the atmosphere, but it is exposed to strong emission from Kepler 11 for many years and, for this high temperature, is estimated when most of hydrogen have escaped [6]. In addition, it is thought that Kepler 11c follows approximately similar fate.
Other
Observation
Kepler 11b was discovered with five other planets of Kepler 11 line by Kepler space telescope, and result of the discovery was announced on February 2, 2011 [6].
Name
The name of Kepler 11b is b, c, d for having been found six at the same time a planet of Kepler 11 line from the planet inside revolution orbit…It was named と [6]. Therefore, Kepler 11b shows that it is the inside planet. The temporary mark before naming the name of Kepler was KOI-157 b or KOI-157.01 [4].
Simultaneous passage of the planet
As for the Kepler 11 system, plural planets sometimes cause the passage at the same time. Kepler 11b, Kepler 11d, the simultaneous passage of three planets by Kepler 11e happened in (BJD2455435.2) at 16:48 on August 13, 2010 [6].
