Belsazar Hacquet

Bartha Saar Halkett (Belsazar de la Motte Hacquet or Balthasar or Balthazar Hacquet, about 1735 – It is a doctor, a natural historian of) Austria (Slovenia) on January 10, 1815. It is said that it is French. I studied work, Slovenian local geology, botany in the id rear of Slovenia.

Brief career history

It is not certain about age, the cloth. I described periodical landslide, (plaz Slano Blato) seen in the Slovenian topography in 1789 and recognized existence of the mineral dolomite.

There was four "Oryctographia Carniolica" in the book and discussed the カルニオラ district, a geological feature, the mineral of the chair thoria peninsula. There is the book of the southern Slavic (Slavus Venedus Illyricus) ethnological study, too. Sigmund ゾイス, BlažKumerdej, Gabriel Gruber, Peter Pavel Glavar, an Anton TomažLinhart and others illuminist acted as a secretary general of association of カルニオラ agriculture of the member.

In the botanical field, there is a book of "alpine plant ("Plantae alpinae Carniolicae") of カルニオラ". I named the lightly yellow gypsy rose which I collected by an avian graph Scabiosa trenta as a new kind, and I listed it, but it was said that this was Cephalaria leucantha later.

It is done 献名 by kind of the Japanese parsley department, kind of Hacquetia epipactis and the Pedicularis resupinata genus, Pedicularis hacquetii.
