The alpha version (alpha ばん, alpha version) is the software for the test to evaluate performance or convenience.

Summary

An alpha version is a version for tester and developers to evaluate performance or convenience in the early period of development. There is an unpopulated function, and movement does instability, unexpected movement; crash, and a bug often exists a lot, and may give a system serious damage when is terrible. Therefore, unlike beta release, it is rare that an alpha version is shown outside. By the software developed in open environment, it may be opened to the public, but I am shown for a developer and a tester, and the commoner should not use it. When I try an alpha version as a tester, it is necessary to prepare when the worst system may be destroyed.

It is for alpha and improves problems and the bug that appeared, and a version to have a user make a try is beta release.
