Alexander A アーヴィズ (Alexander A. Arvizu, 1958 [1] – ) is a diplomat of the United States of America. I acted as stationed-in-Albania Ambassador from 2010.
Breeding
アーヴィズ is born as a child of the residence American in American air force Kadena base in Japan. Father was from draw reply Hidalgo, Mexico, and mother was from Kyoto, Japan. アーヴィズ moved to the United States in family and was brought up in Colorado Colorado Springs.
In 1980, he graduates from Georgetown University and acquires a bachelor's degree. He learned Japanese, Korean, Thai, some Asian languages including the Khmer word [2].
Political career
アーヴィズ enters a ministry at the Department of State diplomacy station in 1981. He successively held various overseas duties in the Department of State and belonged to the bureau which handled an American foreign policy about the east Asia-Pacific region again in the country. I acted as a deputy director in a Japanese part of the Department of State East Asia, Pacific station in Washington D.C. and acted as Director National Security Council Asia charge again in the second Clinton Administration.
For an overseas duty, is Bangkok embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand from 2000 through 2003 at Cambodian Phnom Penh embassy until top minister, 2004 through 2007; a top minister. In addition, there is the residence experience to Korean Seoul embassy and Japanese Osaka, Kobe consulate general, too. アーヴィズ completed a leadership program "46th senior seminar" for members of government high-level post from 2003 through 2004.
He acts as acting Assistant Secretary of State (Japan, Korea charge) after returning home from 2007 through 2009 at the East Asia, Pacific station from the Kingdom of Thailand and manages the regional security. In addition, as for him, the new face assignment director wants to serve in the Personnel Affairs Bureau, too [2]; [3].
On July 1, 2010, アーヴィズ was appointed than President Barack Obama by stationed-in-Albania Ambassador [4]. He performed an oath of the ambassador assumption of office on November 10, 2010 [2].
