State seaside industrial area of the turn
The state seaside industrial area (ばんのすりんかいこうぎょうだんち) of the turn of Kagawa is almost located in the center; a seaside industrial area, complex facing the Seto Inland Sea. On Sakaide-shi and Utazu-cho, it is the core of the heavy industries in Kagawa at the same time to carry the bird of the industrial district in Seto.

Our industrial area ran in (1972) in 1972 from (1965) in 1965 and, as independent business of Kagawa, I filled up the state (the shallows that spread out between Shamijima and shallows Ijima of the Sakaide-shi offing) of the turn and prepared land. The area of the whole industrial area is 6,208,366 square meters. A house industry site area is approximately 4,900,000 square meters. The remainder is used by the parks. The earth and sand of approximately 50 million cubic meters that occurred because of the dredging of the detailed inscription Seto south route in an inning were used. Therefore, it was cheap and finished the total business expense for approximately 14 billion yen and the inning of this scale.
Seto-ohashi penetrates the center of the housing complex and is endowed with the location requirements as the doorway of Shikoku. The electricity supplies electricity from the state transformer substation of the turn in the housing complex.
