San Luis Potosi state (Estado de San Luis Potosí) is a state of Mexico.
It became the location spot of movie "legend of Zorro (2005)". It is the town which supported the economy of the Spanish colony times of Mexico by abundant silver digging and the cultivation of cereals. The topography is semidesert surrounding the Sierra windowless oriental mountain, and a nickname of "アルティプラノ" (in Spanish "the high earth") is attached.

As for the population of the state, 30% live in the San Luis Potosi local government in 2,585,942 people by a general survey in 2010. ^[1]
