Rhapsody

Rhapsody

A musical piece [1] that expressed national or account-like contents in the form that a rhapsody (きょうしきょく) or a rhapsody (British: rhapsody German: Rhapsodie, Buddha: rhapsodie, Italy: rapsodia) was freewheelingness. I connect different melody like a medley and often quote an established melody.

Probably "Hungarian rhapsody" (all 19 pieces) that Franz List composed at the mid-19th century is a largest-scale and famous work, and it is thought that the work in later years came under some kind of influences of it.

In addition, the popularity is very high in "the rhapsody in blue" of Gershwin and affects the field of the popular music.
