Oxidative phosphorylation

Oxidative phosphorylation

The oxidative phosphorylation (さんかてき Lin or oxidative phosphorylation) refers to a series of phosphorylation (biosynthesis of the ATP) reactions to conjugate it in an electronic transmission system, and to be caused. One of the circuits producing the ATP of the high energy compound by a phenomenon in conjunction with the breathing to happen in a cell. A top of the metabolism to produce the energy in the aerobium and the metabolism such as a reason, glucide, lipid, the amino acid converge for this reaction.

The summary of the reaction is the oxidation of the coenzyme such as NADH and FADH and reduction to the water molecule (H2O) of oxygen molecules by it (O2). The equation

ADP + Pi + H+ → ATP + H2O
ΔG ゜' = +30.5 kJ mol-1

I am catalyzed by であり, ATP synthase. I phosphorylate ADP by ATP synthetase, and, using energy of the concentration gradient of the hydrogen ion which I produced to mitochondrial lining membrane and matrix, ATP is made.

It is a reaction to be seen in the form and essence film of the prokaryotic cell other than the mitochondrial lining membrane in the eukaryotic cell. As a reaction system in the chemiosmotic hypothesis that Mitchel proposed is the most influential and was postulated next, the electrochemical potential difference of the proton is formed inside and outside the film, and it is said that ATP synthetase (F0F1) drives it using this and composes direct ATP by an electronic transmission system. The decoupling agent inhibits the conjugate of the reaction of the electronic transmission system and the reaction of the ATP composition, and the oxidative phosphorylation is not angry even if an electronic transmission system is performed by adding this.
