Emil Brightman Kreuz (Emil William Breitkreutz, from November 16, 1883 to May 3, 1972) is a former track-and-field athlete of the United States of America. He participated in the St. Louis Olympics held in 1904 and won a bronze medal by 800 meters of races.

Career
Emil Brightman Kreuz participated in the St. Louis Olympics in 1904 when I was in the University of Southern California department of engineering. He is the player who participated in the Olympics as an athlete from University of Southern California first.
800 meters of races of the St. Louis Olympics were carried out only in final race on September 1, 1904. As for the race, the gym light-bodied of the American representative won the championship at Olympics new record. After all Brightman Kreuz made a goal with the third place next to Howard Valentine of the American representative, and it followed that the United States group monopolized a winners' platform [1].
Brightman Kreuz graduated from a university in 1906 [2]. He takes office as the first head coach of the University of Southern California basketball team in 1907. In addition, I was active as a track-and-field related officer and the chairperson of volleyball Committee positively in the association of amateur exercise (AAU).
