Geography
In a county with the dragon deep water Peninsula which extended to the west Yellow Sea, I contact with the east on a moss rough sea county and a border Nagabuchi county to the north.
The cape of the Nagayama skewer (장산곶/ チャンサンゴッ, ちょうざんかん) is at the tip of the dragon deep water Peninsula. There is a town of the dream Kimpo (몽금포/ モングンポ) in the peninsula northern coast, and the dune continuing from Nagayama skewer is known as an excellent scenic spot. The peninsula southern coast is opposite to pot Tsu Peninsula across a large east bay, and after all 九味浦 (구미포/ クミポ) is known as a beauty spot.
There is the white 翎 Island which the Republic of Korea controls effectively in the offing of the Nagayama skewer.

History
Originally it was a part of the Nagabuchi county.
I am known for the Korean Christianity history as the land where a Protestant cathedral was built for the first time in 1884. At it church (Matsukawa church) built for the first time in 九味浦付近 (Nagabuchi county vast help side Matsukawa village, existing dragon deep water county nine taste village) of the dragon deep water Peninsula southern coast in China by the 受洗 Korean believer, 徐相崙 and others which I did, it was in a base of the propagation of a Baptist group and the Presbyterian Church.
In 1952, the southern part of Nagabuchi county was divided by jurisdiction reorganization of North Korea, and a dragon deep water county was organized.
