"Battleship バウンティ" (せんかん バウンティ, an original title: Mutiny on the Bounty) is an American film of the MGM production for 1,962 years. The Marlon Brando lead, Lewis Myles ton supervision, Charles レデラー script.
It is the filmization of the novel (1932) of the same name with Charles Nordhoff and the James Norman hall and reproduces a revolt (revolt of HMS Bounty) caused for captain William brei practically in warship "バウンティ" by mate Fletcher Christian. It is the third filmization to follow "In the Wake of the Bounty" of 1933 to assume the same novel the original and "a revolt of battleship HMS Bounty" of 1935. The fourthVoyage of バウンティ / love and the revolt』1985。
"Battleship バウンティ" is the first movie photographed in a wide screen by ウルトラパナヴィジョン 70 (it depends on a screen credit).

In 1787, it sailed from "バウンティ" with conduct of Captain William Bligh (Trevor Howard) for Tahiti from the U.K. If the duty was to transport breadfruit to Jamaica, and this duty went well, I should have been able to contribute cheap food to the slave of the West Indies. In the middle of a difficult voyage, the first mate Fletcher Christian lieutenant (Marlon Brando) strongly objected for merciless handling of the brei for an officer and the soldier, but the brei was not going to change a way.
The destination where "バウンティ" reached was tropical paradise, and the crew was drowned to comfortable life and the beautiful woman who remained wanted it. The Christian fell in love with my Michi (タリタ), too. When it was this comfort, the prediction that the long journey of severe rules under the rule of the brei began again led sailors including sailor John Mills to the revolt, and the Christian agreed to it unwillingly, too. The brei and the なわすかな crew faithful to him were washed down by small craft.
I came back to Tahiti to meet lovers of the crew, and the Christian left for the far-off ピトケアン island to escape from naval retaliation in the U.K.

Difference with the historical fact
The story of this movie is not a thing too precise historically.
- By the movie, Fletcher had met Bligh for the first time, but they have really gone on a voyage together before.
- A Christian is really a mate not an officer (warrant officer).
- When Bligh really slept, the revolt happened, but has got up by the movie in front.
- The Christian is going to go back to the U.K. in the last of the movie and dies of the fire that a friend for fear of it threw "バウンティ", but is killed after having really lived in ピトケアン island for several years. (there is even a person thinking that I went back to the U.K. several years later.)
Commendation
As for the movie for this 1962, it was a candidate of the Oscar with seven branches including the Best Picture Award, but missed all the receiving a prize.
Trivia
- This movie became the legend from all over the photography by a radical action of Marlon Brando. According to the biography which I wrote of the Peter man so, the brand let the photography staff go for the decoration of the wedding ceremony in Tahiti of the friend and ordered expensive food and drink by air for one's party.
- The brand picked off 52 pants by excessive overeating from the clothes part.
- The brand really married タリタ テリピア which played the part of my Michi later.
- The replica which moved of HMS Bounty was produced for a movie, but it was to be burnt at the end of the story. The brand refused to continue film photography unless the spare was made. Supervision and the producer compromised after all and they made replication to burn it and left the original replica. This replica visited some English ports in the summer of 2007 [1]. It sank under the influence of hurricane Sandy who occurred in 2012 afterwards [2].
