Baltimore 級重巡洋艦 (Baltimore きゅうじゅうじゅんようかん, Baltimore class) is warship grade of the cruiser of U.S. Navy. I am called Baltimore 級重巡洋艦.
After Washington navy disarmament treaty lapse of 1937, it is 重巡洋艦 which was constructed without being bound by the limit of the treaty. The defence boasted of firmness to compete for one or two by cruiser which the Great Powers constructed as much as the displacements exceeded 14,000 tons, and displacements increased.

Summary

Furthermore, was superior to proximity anti-aircraft fire by preparing 56-caliber of 40mm cannons (4 multi-launching) and 55-caliber of 20mm cannons (multi-launching, 単装) a lot and was the general-purpose warship which could handle an anti-warship and antiaircraft both sides.
Building is started in 1941; of the whole Pacific War was completed from 1943 through 1945. Derivation type
