The society where association of royal gardening (おうりつえんげいきょうかい, Royal Horticultural Society, abbreviated designation RHS) assumes association of London gardening established in the U.K., London in 1804 (Horticultural Society of London) a forerunner. It is a charity organization for the purpose of the encouragement of gardening, the gardening in Europe as well as the U.K. I am active through holding of a series of Flower Show, the general release of many model gardens.
Because Royal Family Imperial grant was granted in 1861 by 王配 Albert of sax = co-Bergh = Gotha, it became the current name. The association reached the foundation 200th anniversary in 2004.

History of association of royal gardening
Founder
The association of gardening foundation of the U.K. was advised about in 1800 by John Wedgwood (child of Josiah Wedgwood, uncle of Charles Darwin). His purpose was modest with fairness. He gave them an opportunity of the announcement of the report about the gardening activity of the member of association and the discovery and opened the meeting that was periodical to promote a discussion to a member of association and wanted to publicize result. The association conferred the prize for gardening achievements.
His having talked with a friend about a design, but the first meeting having been held in seven members on March 7, 1804 four years later in a dove charrs bookstore of Piccadilly. Wedgwood acted as chairperson. It was William Townsend ray ton (it acted as supervision of cue gardens like father William ray ton), Joseph Bankes (President of Royal Society), person of raising of seedling James Dixon, William Forsythe (supervision of each garden of cent James Palace and Kensington Palace), Charles Francis Greville (Minister of the Navy), Richard Anthony Salisbury to have attended (it became the councillor of the new association).
Bankes invited you to become a member in the Thomas Andrew night of the close friend. Garden of association of royal gardening
RHS owns four places of gardens that named the name in England. It is ウィズレー garden (Surrey), Rose Moore garden (Devon), Hyde hall garden (Essex), Harlow car garden (North Yorkshire).
There was the first garden of RHS in Kensington from 1818 through 1822. In 1821, the association borrowed feudal tenure of Prince Devon Shah in チジック and made an experimental garden. In 1823, Joseph Paxton was employed in this garden. The association opened フェト (en:Fête) in 1827 in チジック garden and has begun to show a flower and the competition section of vegetables from 1833. In 1861, RHS has begun to make a new garden in Kensington (a science museum, Imperial College London, a place with royal College of Music). However, I left this place in 1888. The チジック garden was maintained until 1903 through 1904 when Lord Thomas Kahn Berri donated a garden of ウィズレー to purchase RHS.
Therefore ウィズレー garden is an association oldest garden. Then, Rose Moore garden was donated in 1988 by lady Ann berry. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson of the owner donated the Hyde hall garden to RHS in 1993. The newest garden was won in Harlow car garden in 2001 by RHS and a merger of association of Northern gardening. This garden has been shown after an association purchased it at an examination room of association of Northern gardening in 1949.
Flower Show
It is held Chelsea Flower Show every year to be the most famous for Flower Show of RHS. However, besides, there is タットン park Flower Show started in London Flower Show (8 times a year), Hampton Court palace Flower Show, 1999 held every year in Cheshire. Spring Flower Show is started in 2005 every year in Cardiff. RHS is concerned with a TV program gardeners world of the BBC broadcasted live in show held in Malvern in spring and summer, Birmingham, Kunitachi エキシビジョン center closely.
I bloom and Britain in
RHS succeeded administration of the Britain in bloom (a section is divided according to the scale of the local government a gardening competition to apply for by en:Britain in Bloom, local government unit) in 2002. RHS planned 'It's your neighbourhood' campaign (your neighbor) in 2010 to recommend the whole gardening of the community.
A medal and prize
The association confers Victoria honor medal for the person who was considered in a meeting though I am authorized in particular in the field of gardening if I deserve to be you. Bank beautifulness medal, nightie Ann medal, Lindley medal are given for other medals for a well-known member registered at the association. A gold medal, a silver medal, a bronze medal are given for superior display in Flower Show.
The James bitch memory medal is given scientific progress and improvement, the remarkable person who contributed for the practice of the gardening every year regardless of nationality.
A garden merit prize (AGM) is a prize to be given to cultivated plants by an applicable committee of RHS an evaluation period later. The prize is given after a plant examination every year.

RHS is a custodian of the Lindley library made from a collection of a certain John Lindley book in London, the headquarters of Vincent square 80.
Publication
Magazine
The association publishes a magazine from 1866. It becomes the name the garden magazine from 1975 and is published once a month now. There are other the Plantu man, the the orchard review magazine of the quarterly magazine, Hanburyana published for gardening taxonomy once a year.
Annalist of the plant
RHS came to take a role of the annalist for the positive grouping of the crop plant since the international registration station for plants was set up from 1955.
