A list of temples of Japan (にほんのじいんいちらん) is a list of main chaitya in Japan.
A temple having the important cultural assets such as a temple of the Mt. head temple of a Buddhist sect, Omoto grade of each Buddhism denomination concluded before the early modern times, the Japanese history, history of Buddhism, cultural history, the temple which is important in history of art, the national treasure gathers faith widely and takes up the serious temples where I affected in Japanese culture.
