Contact sport

Contact sport

The expression that is used when I acquire the degree of the contact between players in sports or a martial art with the contact sport (British: Contact sport) for a stage.

Stage

The contact sport is deleted for a stage by the degree of the contact. In medical care, I am used at the time of the diagnosis that the physical condition of the target person can support for the stage of the contact sport [1].

Full-contact

A form to contact a partner directly without controlling power.

Semi-contact

The expression that is used by a martial art mainly. A form to contact a partner directly after having controlled power. I say the light contact.

Example) amateur kick boxing, kung fu, ITF taekwondo, kendo

Limited contact

The form mainly involving having possibilities to come into contact with a partner, but keeping distance.

Example) basketball, baseball, the ultimate

Non-contact

A form not to contact a partner.

Example) tennis, cricket, dart, bowling, net ball, squash, swimming, cheerleading, trout boxing, karate of the simulative blow rule
