Air force cross chapter (the United States of America)
The air force cross chapter (Air Force Cross) is a decoration of the United States of America. It is the decoration of the high rank and is conferred on a member of the American Air Force who "did matchless heroic action in a battle" in the second next to Congressional Medal. It is equal to Distinguished Service Cross of the army, naval navy cross chapter and is often translated as Distinguished Flying Cross.
