Prince William (USS Prince William, AVG/ACV/CVE-31) is an escort carrier of U.S. Navy. One ship of the Bogue grade.

Warship career

Prince William started work as AVG-31 (escort ship mounted with a plane) at Seattle Tacoma shipyard of lower Washington Tacoma of the maritime commission contract on May 18, 1942 (hull number 242). I was changed a warship class of to ACV-31 (supporting carrier) on August 20, 1942 and was launched by the pole Foley wife on August 23, 1942, and the conduct bottom of the Herbert E Regan captain was placed on duty on April 9, 1943.

Prince William was sold as a scrap in Japan in March, 1961.
