Geography
To the north Kanggye-si, Jijo county, the east wolf forest county, the west 渭原郡, the south dragon forest county contact with Maekawa county.
There is the castle dried county in the wolf forest Mountains, and 将子江 flowing toward the west flows for the south. The highest peak in the county is 猛扶山 of 2,214m above see level. 92% of whole areas are the forest.
History
It was a part of the P'yongan-pukto Ganggye county before the independence. I came to belong to the Chagang-do Maekawa county in January, 1949.
