A dolichos race

A dolichos race (Dolichos / Dolichus) is a long-distance running carried out in ancient Greece.

It was enforced at the 15th meeting (B.C. 720) by the Ancient Olympian Games. The mileage was changed every meeting, but was the competition that 10 coming and going (approximately 3.8km) degree lay across the stretch of 1 Stadion (approximately 190m) in [1].
