ThallaKan Island

Coordinate: The island where 3°21'0" N 117°34'0" E / 3.35000 degrees N 117.56667 degrees E / 3.35000, the 117.56667 talas Kan Island belong to the State of north Kalimantan, Indonesia. It is located in the western part of Celebes Sea of the northeast bank offing of Borneo Island. In many islands of the boggy place, the area is 303km². Oil produces it at the outskirts.

After occupation by Japan of 1942, the broadcast accumulation center of oil products produced in バリクパパン refinery was built, and, during World War II, it was in the supply base to each front base of the Japanese soil and Japan forces. A battle was performed between the alliance national military which aimed at the military garrison and recapture in Japan in 1945.
