Lake Tega Disneyland (てがぬま Disneyland) is the playland where development was planned around Lake Tega of Chiba [1]. A design happens in (1959) in 1959 of the rapid economic growth period, and the developer was established, too, but Disney park and an amusement park were not really built [1].

I hung the shore of Lake Tega in Taisho as a scenic place from the Meiji era, and many cultured people minded a home and a villa and developed scenery protection exercise [2]. A Lake Tega Disneyland plan is placed as one of such tides [2]. "Disneyland" which I was going to build by this plan was the compound facility including a sporting house or the healthy land, heliport as well as so-called amusement park [3]. It was started from establishment promoter party of "sightseeing in Lake Tega Co., Ltd." of (1959) in 1959, and movement such as the practice of the purchase and the landfill of the land was seen, but residential land conversion of the reclaimed land was fixed at 1968 (1968) in the Chiba assembly engineering works Standing Committee in April, and, as for the plan to make a large size sightseeing spot of the Disneyland grade in the Tega marsh, it was an illusion [4].

Change of the plan

The Lake Tega was appointed in the Chiba's first prefectural park in (1935) in 1935, and I received the designation of the view garden, and the development as the pleasure resort in the suburbs of Tokyo was expected from prewar days by Tokyo green tract of land plan meeting [5]. However, there was not the movement that was outstanding by the Pacific War, and Tokyo Olympics boat venue invitation disappeared after the war for motorboat race ground invitation and 1,964 years when it was argued [6]. By the motorboat race ground invitation plan, a developer changed it to amusement park construction after the repulsion of inhabitants, and the later movement has stopped although I acquired a public area inning license of the Lake Tega [7]. Meanwhile, Yachiyo Manabe and others of Korakuen Stadium's president opened the establishment promoter society of "sightseeing in Lake Tega Co., Ltd." parallel to Tokyo Olympics meeting place invitation (1959) in September in 1959, and it was announced that I built the large-scale amusement park which "put Koraku-en Garden, Ueno Zoo, Funabashi health centers together" in the shore of Tega marsh [8].

I will compete with an amusement park plan of sightseeing in Chiba who got public area inning permission by an amusement park construction expression of sightseeing in Lake Tega earlier [8]. When this problem solved it in a quitclaim to sightseeing in Lake Tega by an arrangement of Shojiro Kawashima of the Chief Secretary of LDP, and Tokyo Olympics meeting place invitation failed, a talk was held between a sightseeing in Tega marsh promoter with a chief of invitation Kashiwa-shi, Higashikatsushika marsh south village (later Numaminamimachi, existing Kashiwa-shi) which exercised, county Abikocho (existing Abiko-shi) (1959) in December in 1959, and representative promoter explained the business design at Kashiwa-shi government office in (1960) in 1960 in the next year [9]. It was said, "I took a scale of Disneyland of the suburbs of Los Angeles into account and push forward business", and, by the explanation of the case, sightseeing in Lake Tega started with a company name of "all-Japan tourism development Co., Ltd." (1960) as an official company on April 22 in 1960 [10]. Ukichi Yonemoto of Tokyotokeiba's chairperson took office as Seiichiro Yasui, the president who experienced Tokyo Governor to a chairperson, and expectation to development increased in the hometown because a chairperson and the presidents such as Keisei Electric Railway, TOBU Railway, Koraku-en Garden, Maruzen land, 日本炭礦 took office as a director as follows [10].

Abikocho assembly adopted "a resolution about the invitation cooperation with the all-Japan tourism development establishment Co., Ltd." with one accord quickly (1960) on April 26 in 1960 four days after the company start and accepted an amusement park invitation in the marsh south village [11]. On the other hand, I was gradually separated from development program because the cooperation of the landowner was not provided in most positive Kashiwa-shi [11]. I made two pages of special features (1961) in "public information Abiko" dated January 1 in 1961 and, in Abikocho that decided acceptance, conveyed an amusement park plan to a townsman [11].

I added the all-Japan tourism development to the inning license of 12,000 tsubos (approximately 4.0ha) that performed acquisition by purchase from sightseeing in Chiba and acquired the addition license of 58,000 tsubos (approximately 19ha) (1961) in December in 1961 and held the groundbreaking ceremony of the amusement park (1962) in Tega marsh park in August in 1962 and pushed forward a plan smoothly [12]. The farmland which I could not purchase by regulation of the Agricultural Land Law directly acquired approximately 22,000 tsubos (approximately 7.3ha) in form to have you resell the thing which Chiba land development public corporation purchased one year later in November, 1962 [12]. Approximately 100,000 tsubos (approximately 33ha) opened up approximately 70,000 tsubo (approximately 23ha) landfill, forest on the marsh south village side and maintained an amusement park and they divided it into the first and the second and, according to the news of Chiba Nippo at the time, were going to construct the surface of the water of the Abikocho side [12]. In addition, the completion was going to get it ready for Tokyo Olympics holding (1964 = 1964) [11].

Opacification and setback of the plan

As for the plan that I was able to see whether you advanced smoothly, the rumor "that a director changed "the resale to the other companies is planned" by a plan change" came to fly about "reclaimed land becomes the sale in lots residential area" in 1963 (1963), and the chief of the Abikocho, marsh south village came to submit a request book to all-Japan tourism development in June of the year [13]. The all-Japan tourism development did not reply about the truth of the rumor, and Asahi Tochi Kogyo which ran Funabashi health centers in about October, 1963 acquired the stocks of 45% of all-Japan tourism development, and Yoshitoshi Tanzawa of company's president took office as the president of the all-Japan tourism development [13]. The all-Japan tourism development continued filling it up, but the eyes of the doubt for the company continued being turned, and the all-Japan tourism development expressed plan cancellation in a document (1965) afterwards in August in 1965 [13]. The reason of the plan cancellation was pollution of the Lake Tega and financing aggravation of the companies [13].

The matter of the plan cancellation became a target of the deliberation in the Diet and the Chiba assembly and a problem to have possibilities to violate the public area inning method and Agricultural Land Law was the House of Councilors and a problem whether pollution advanced to so that Lake Tega was not suitable for amusement park construction hung it each in a prefectural assembly in (1966) for 1965 through 1966 and was argued [14].

The post

, a discussion was done while answered it when Taketo Tomonou of the Governor of Chiba instructs it in the prefectural assembly to let make an amusement park even if is accompanied when is converted into the residential area, but "the residential land development is unavoidable" (1968) in the prefectural assembly engineering works Standing Committee in April in 1968 after all; it was concluded and was done [14]. And the land which the all-Japan tourism development owned was released by contribution to Abikocho, sale to Chiba, Japanese land, Sankin Fudosan, and a sale in lots began as Abiko land for sale by the lot in October, 1968 [15]. Because it was decided that this land for sale by the lot assumed reclaimed land "larger section of a village Wakamatsu" in Abikocho assembly of March, 1964, in the address, it was in Wakamatsu [16]. In addition, at the east end of the reclaimed land, Chiba Prefectural Abiko high school founded a school in (1970) in 1970 [15].

Display about the history of Lake Tega reclamation was carried out in (2012), Kashiwa-shi native district document exhibition room (Lake Kashiwa-shi south Government building) in 2012, and a document about Lake Tega Disneyland was released as the come-on for the first time [1]. A newspaper article at the time or a business plan, the plan by the developer which reported development program were displayed [1].

Tokyo Disneyland was opened from plan cancellation in same Chiba on April 15, 1983 that was 15 years later. Abiko-shi was given to a construction place candidate of Tokyo Disneyland, too, but did not come true after all.
