Country of the starlit sky over there

The ジュブナイルファンタジー novel of the Hirotoshi Kobayashi product that "country (ほしぞらのむこうのくに) of the starlit sky over there" was published in 1984. In addition, the Japanese movie which produced it as the original in 1986, and was shown.

But, according to the afterword of the novel, I seemed to ask it for writing with Kazuya Konaka premising filmization for Kobayashi.

Story

Akio who failed to avoid a truck one week ago, and hit the head came to see the dream of the girl who stared at him with the look that seemed to accuse thing, anything from it like every evening. One day in Akio who looked at the girl who saw it in a dream from the car window of the train learning a mysterious sense of incongruity. Akio died by an accident one week ago for some reason, and a funeral service has been held when I came home.

Akio finds Ozaki of the close friend who is an SF enthusiast with not understanding the reason and calls out to you. It is astonished as if "I totally happened to meet even a dead human being" from Ozaki. In fact, this world resembles the world where originally Akio was, but is informed of that world Akio of the causes hesitates about this parallel world where, besides, parallel world であること having the different history cannot originally enter at all for Akio for some reason and was crowded. And Akio decides it because "girl = Risa in the dream" knows that it was a lover of already dead "Akio of this world", and "he" realizes the wish that was not granted to meet Risa….

Character

Akio (in autumn)
An extremely common eleventh grader. The hobby is astronomical observation. I am rolled up in a truck accident as always on the way to a school, but get off with a slight wound miraculously. However, from the day, I continue meeting an unknown girl in a dream and will go to the world = parallel world where she is before long.
Risa (Risa)
A lover of Akio in the parallel world. Having the intractable disease that new blood was not produced in the body, the remaining days had it almost no. Because Akio came for the visit of the younger sister accidentally, in a hospital admitted to, a story bounds from acquaintance, same hobby = astronomical observation.

Ozaki

  • It is commercial movie director initial work of Kazuya Konaka, and Ikebukuro literary arts seat invests for the purpose of the furtherance of the young picture writer [1].
  • This product performed hommage of the boy drama series of NHK and was labelled as "boy drama series THE MOVIE" and was advertised [1]; [2]. As for the catch copy, "the miraculous drama of the parallel world begins for the girl of the dream now across the space-time".
  • I seem to express it by the change of the world (the reality world) monochrome and color that "Akio is already dead" by the movie, and world (the parallel world) and Akio originally belong to, but Konaka talks about the interpretation such as the next clause in comen Tully of the DVD. In addition, Akio finishes a role in the parallel world, and special effects express a sequence returning to the reality world effectively.
