Manchester (USS Manchester, CL-83) is a light cruiser of U.S. Navy. One ship of the Cleveland grade light cruiser. The name of a warship is associated with New Hampshire Manchester.
Warship career

Manchester was presented with nine war stars in meritorious services in war of the Korean War. Laurence Hugh Frost who acted as director at National Security Agency later under the Kennedy Administration during a period of the Korean War commanded a warship as the captain.
